The full DuPage County Board is now scheduled to vote on the Conditional-Use permit at its Tuesday, January 27th meeting at 10:00am at the County Administration Building.  We need your immediate help to send an eMail to the County Board members.

First, thank you for signing petitions against the proposed Mega-Church development within our residential neighborhood, attending meetings, and writing letters to our County officials in the past.
 

Previously the County Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) voted 4-to-3 to approve the petitioner's request for a conditional-use permit for a mega-church.  Subsequently — through our combined efforts — the DuPage County Development Board voted 3-to-2 to recommend against approval of this conditional-use permit.  Now the full County Board will finally vote on the recommendations of its sub-Committees, but their main input will be from you—the voters who they represent.
 
Your help is crucially needed one more time to both attend the County Board meeting and to contact the DuPage County Board members to tell them how you expect them to vote on the issue.  Public comment at the Board meeting will be severely limited — so your input via letter or eMail will be necessary.  It is imperative that you send your eMail quickly.

In addition to eMailing the County Board, your attendance at the DuPage County Board meeting will signal your concern and interest about this issue to protect your rural life style and property values.  Please attend to demonstrate your interest and support.  Here are the meeting details:
